Make this creamy White Christmas Margarita for your holiday gatherings. This easy pitcher recipe uses tequila, coconut cream, and lime for a festive, refreshing cocktail.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 18 oz canned coconut milk
  • 6 oz coconut water
  • 6 oz Grand Marnier or orange liqueur
  • 9 oz silver tequila
  • 6 oz fresh lime juice
  • Ice for blending or serving
  • Optional Garnish: Shredded coconut, lime wheels, or a splash of cranberry juice

Instructions

  1. Combine the coconut milk, coconut water, Grand Marnier, tequila, and fresh lime juice in a large pitcher or blender.
  2. If making individual frozen drinks, blend 1.5 cups of the mixture with 1 cup of ice until smooth.
  3. If serving blended drinks immediately, pour the mixture into chilled glasses filled with ice.
  4. For a pitcher serving, chill the mixture for at least one hour before serving.
  5. To serve from the pitcher, pour the chilled mixture into salt-rimmed or sugar-rimmed glasses filled with fresh ice.
  6. Garnish each glass with a lime wheel or a sprinkle of shredded coconut for a snowy effect.
  7. For a cranberry swirl, gently pour a small amount of cranberry juice over the top of the finished drink.

Notes

  • For a frozen slush, use 1.5 cups of the liquid mixture per serving and blend with ice.
  • Rim your glasses with coarse sugar mixed with a pinch of lime zest for extra flavor.
  • You can prepare the liquid base up to 24 hours in advance and store it covered in the refrigerator.
