Ingredients
Scale
2 pounds sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup beef broth
1/2 cup butter, cut into pieces
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Place the cubed sirloin steak into your slow cooker.
Sprinkle the steak evenly with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Toss lightly to coat.
Pour the beef broth over the steak.
Scatter the pieces of butter over the top of the steak.
Add the minced garlic and Worcestershire sauce.
Cover the slow cooker and cook on LOW for 4 to 5 hours or on HIGH for 2 to 3 hours, until the steak is tender.
Stir in the soy sauce during the last 15 minutes of cooking.
Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning if needed.
Serve the crockpot steak bites hot, garnished with fresh parsley, over mashed potatoes or rice.
Notes
For extra flavor, sear the steak cubes briefly in a hot skillet before adding them to the slow cooker.
If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of cold water and stir it into the slow cooker during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
This recipe works well with sirloin or chuck steak cuts for maximum tenderness.
